Chief Financial Officer Position

Rumin8 is pioneering a groundbreaking approach to mitigating climate change by targeting methane emissions from livestock. The digestive process of cattle produces a significant portion of global greenhouse gas emissions, making it a critical area of focus.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team and drive the financial growth and success of our company. As we scale and validate our product line, we need to build a robust financial infrastructure to support our projected expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading a global finance function, including information systems, procedures, processes, and teams. This role requires exceptional commercial acumen, strategic decision-making ability, and strong written and verbal presentation skills.

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional with at least 15 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in agribusiness or biotechnology. A CA/CPA or equivalent qualification is essential, as well as experience in building manufacturing capability and managing research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a global finance function, including information systems, procedures, processes, and teams
  • Manage the development and execution of budgets and forecasts
  • Provide statutory and regular reports to the board
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and financial institutions
  • Ensure statutory compliance and oversee risk management

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strategic decision-making ability
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in agribusiness or biotechnology, particularly in building manufacturing capability and managing research and development projects
