Job Description:

Transaction Services Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as a Transaction Services Manager. This role will oversee and manage various financial transactions for clients across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transaction services, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of transactions, providing strategic guidance, and mitigating potential risks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex financial deals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate the financial viability and risks associated with potential transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Develop financial models, perform valuations, and analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive transaction documents, including financial statements, contracts, and presentations.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to anticipate potential impacts on transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management regarding transaction opportunities and challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, legal advisors, and other transaction-related parties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or professional certification (e.g., CA ANZ, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • CFA completion would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience in transaction services, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, due diligence, valuation techniques, and transactional processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, DCF analysis tools).
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to financial transactions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.
