We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Transactions Specialist to join our team.

This role offers an exceptional chance to scale your experience and career in corporate finance, specifically in transaction services. You will be working on complex financial transactions, providing due diligence and advisory services to clients, and collaborating with senior partners and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse detailed financial information, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, forecasts, and key operational data of targets/clients.
  • Synthesize and convert data into meaningful information to analyse trends and conclusions, driving discussions with target management.
  • Provide well-articulated analytical and commercial insights, preparing financial due diligence data books and reports for buy-side, sell-side, and pre-lend assignments.
  • Identify issues and drivers that impact purchase price, sale agreement drafting, and deal structuring.
  • Participate and lead in meetings and conference calls with target company management and client personnel to ensure exceptional client service.
  • Assist with Investigating Accountant's Report assignments for capital raisings and IPOs.
  • Cultivate and develop a team of talented juniors, building trusted relationships and growing their capabilities.
  • Leverage integrated offerings and 'build your brand' across the firm and clients.
  • Contribute to business development, client pitches, and risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, and professional certification (CA or international equivalent).
  • Between 5-8 years of experience in a mid to large-size professional services firm, with a focus on transaction diligence roles, audits, financial due diligence, and related services for diverse client bases.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with sound business acumen.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills, as well as strong report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, willing to learn, attention to detail, and commercially minded.
  • Project management skills, ability to thrive and multitask, and maintain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
