Customer Service Representative Opportunity

Abbott is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Rapid Diagnostics division in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing orders, and resolving customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders in QAD for domestic and international customers
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, backorders, and product issues
  • Analyze and resolve escalated customer issues
  • Process credits and liaise with logistics companies
  • Maintain customer standing orders and assist the commercial team with stock and customer data
  • Identify and implement improvements in customer service processes

Internal Systems and Processes:

  • Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and forms for the role
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Human Resources Policies & Procedures

Customers:

  • Provide outstanding assistance and advice to external and internal customers
  • Develop and build relationships with customers, warehouse team, and other areas of Abbott

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in Order Processing
  • Experience in a Customer Service/Customer-facing Role
  • Experience with export orders & documentation and familiarity with healthcare terminology and products is desirable
