Job Summary

We seek an experienced and skilled Operations Leader to oversee the daily management of waste services across domestic, commercial, and recycling sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations in waste management.
  • Establish a culture emphasizing safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to team members.
  • Monitor driver schedules and adherence to regulations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and actioning of incidents, near misses, and training.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support staff development initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, performance data, and reports.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal departments and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • HR Class Driver's License.
  • Proven leadership experience in operational teams, preferably in waste management.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in training, supervising, and mentoring staff.
  • Ability to analyze service issues and implement practical solutions.
