Waste Management Operative

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Waste Management Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our recycling centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to members of the public dropping off their problem wastes for environmentally friendly recycling.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Health and Safety: Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to WHS practices, EEO principles, ethical practice, and multi-cultural diversity.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in responsibilities and hours of work.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in customer service, operations, and administrative requirements.
  • Manual Handling: Manual handling skills and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexible attitude towards responsibilities and hours of work.
