Key Role: Executive Assistant to CEO

This is a pivotal opportunity for an individual to play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer of a leading community organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO's office, handling logistics, scheduling, and coordinating with leadership, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the CEO's workflow and schedule
  • Handle all CEO-related logistics, including travel, meetings, and events
  • Liaise and interact with leadership, partners, and stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Prepare correspondence, documents, and reports as required
  • Support governance processes (e.g., board meetings, agendas, minutes)
  • Undertake other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the CEO's office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administration, business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Discretion and ability to keep information confidential at all times
  • Prior experience in the not-for-profit, community, or youth sector (desirable)

Contract Details:

Contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of ongoing employment
