Engineering Systems Analyst

As a pivotal member of our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned Engineering MIS Specialists, gaining invaluable insights and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Administration:

Oversee user accounts, ensuring appropriate access to functionalities based on individual roles. Manage modifications to user accounts, including role adjustments, deactivations, and terminations. Conduct regular user access reviews and audits to maintain security integrity.

Support Management:

Investigate and resolve issues that may compromise data and system integrity. Process user requests for data updates or system modifications through front-end updates or database scripts. Create and develop SQL scripts to facilitate data migration or bulk updates. Design and generate customized reports tailored to user specifications.

System Maintenance:

Collaborate with stakeholders and the Product Owner to manage TRAX defect issues effectively. Assist in Production Verification Testing (PVT) during server updates or patches to enhance system security.

System Enhancements:

Perform comprehensive systems and business analysis, including gathering user requirements, reviewing processes, mapping data, and testing systems. Support initiatives aimed at improving system integrations with TRAX. Aid in the transition from TRAX to eMRO by participating in impact assessments, process evaluations, data mapping, and system testing as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience in system support, administration, or analysis. Familiarity with system upgrades and/or data migration is advantageous. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Power Apps, and/or Power BI is preferred. Understanding of APIs and/or web services is a plus. Knowledge of Tomcat and/or Linux server configuration and troubleshooting is desirable. Familiarity with Spec 2K and/or AeroXchange is beneficial. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Effective stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
