Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Information Senior Advisory Officer to join our team.

About the Role

This senior advisory position provides expert advice in complex matters across information access pathways. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating objections for subpoenas issued on law enforcement officials
  • Assisting in the progression of legal proceedings before the Civil and Administrative Tribunal
  • Providing guidance and advice across the organization to ensure appropriate decision making regarding the release of sensitive information

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with legislation, preferably related to information access. They will also be able to make recommendations in relation to policy, procedures, and opportunities to enhance capability and improve compliance.

Key accountabilities include providing high-level strategic advice, assisting in the development of policies and procedures, and contributing to the improvement of information access processes.
