Key Position: Information Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the enhancement and implementation of robust information governance frameworks across our organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review and maintain policies and procedures that ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and provide effective communication and training on these requirements.
  • Undertake assessments of privacy related incidents ensuring timely investigation, reporting and resolution.
  • Conduct risk assessments and monitor and oversee practices to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports on compliance status, incidents and risk assessments to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role in regulatory compliance or legal with experience in Australian financial services industry preferred.
  • Ability to analyse and communicate complex matters in a commercially sensible way.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in or providing services to a regulated financial services organisation with a strong understanding of regulatory obligations.
