Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Audiologist to join our well-established clinic in Ballina, New South Wales.

Our talented and passionate employees contribute to something greater than themselves – creating a life without limitations through the sense of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with hearing and balance issues by providing professional recommendations for rehabilitation options and developing tailored programs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments in line with current best practices and communicate assessment results effectively.
  • Meet client needs by providing appropriate advice, services, and devices.
  • Offer counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years' experience in Adult Rehabilitation; diagnostic experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Full membership with AudA or ACAud.
  • Strong audiological skills, with the ability to manage a high and varied caseload while demonstrating sound clinical judgement.
  • Excellent customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
