There are endless opportunities at WRH - As the regional provider of advanced care, the hospital provides the following services for the entire Erie St. Clair sub region of Ontario Health West: Complex Trauma, Renal Dialysis, Cardiac Care, Stroke and Neurosurgery, Intensive Care, Acute Mental Health, Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Services, and Regional Cancer Services.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide a full range of audiological assessment services to inpatients and outpatients in a general hospital setting.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

  • Masters degree in Audiology ~ required
  • Licensed by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) ~ required
  • Two years of relevant clinical experience ~ preferred
  • Experience with both adults and children ~ preferred
  • Ability to perform sedated ABR's ~ preferred
  • Demonstrates adherence to established standards of professional practice and personal conduct.
  • Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical practice and procedures in a health care environment.
  • General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of the position.
  • French language skills an asset
