There are endless opportunities at WRH - As the regional provider of advanced care, the hospital provides the following services for the entire Erie St. Clair sub region of Ontario Health West: Complex Trauma, Renal Dialysis, Cardiac Care, Stroke and Neurosurgery, Intensive Care, Acute Mental Health, Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Services, and Regional Cancer Services.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide a full range of audiological assessment services to inpatients and outpatients in a general hospital setting.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Masters degree in Audiology ~ required
- Licensed by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) ~ required
- Two years of relevant clinical experience ~ preferred
- Experience with both adults and children ~ preferred
- Ability to perform sedated ABR's ~ preferred
- Demonstrates adherence to established standards of professional practice and personal conduct.
- Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical practice and procedures in a health care environment.
- General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of the position.
- French language skills an asset
