High-Performing Administrator

This is a pivotal role that requires you to be the key link between our General Manager and various stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and follow-through.
As Senior Support Professional, you'll be responsible for managing calendars and meetings, preparing reports and briefing notes, drafting correspondence, and providing essential support to ensure deadlines and priorities are met.
You'll also take the lead in coordinating directorate meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring timely delivery of reports for Council and Executive Leadership Team meetings.
Additionally, you'll play an active role in streamlining processes, supporting business unit administration, and collaborating with other Executive Assistants to drive continuous improvement across our organization.
">Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level executive support to the General Manager, including managing diaries, meetings, correspondence, and priorities.
- Act as the key liaison between the General Manager, staff, Councillors, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-through.
- Prepare and coordinate reports, briefing papers, agendas, and minutes for Council, Executive Leadership Team, and Directorate meetings.
- Support the smooth operation of the directorate by coordinating administrative functions, streamlining processes, and assisting business units as needed.
- Contribute to projects, events, and initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional correspondence and build trusted relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities to juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven experience providing high-level administrative support in a senior or executive environment.
- Confidence in using a range of software and systems, including document management, spreadsheets, and electronic financial tools.
- A professional, discreet and customer-focused approach, with the ability to handle sensitive information and situations.
