A Clearance Support Agent plays a vital role in ensuring seamless shipment clearance for customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers regarding clearance requirements and resolve discrepancies to ensure successful shipment clearance.
- Collaborate with customers to gather necessary shipment information and documents when existing data is insufficient.
- Validate and correct shipment records to meet regulatory standards.
- C coordinate and facilitate shipment inspections as needed.
- Maintain timely contact with customers through various communication channels, assisting with both pre- and post-clearance issues.
- Teamwork - Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Positive Attitude - Foster a motivating and uplifting work environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills - Demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.
- Communication Skill - Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication.
- Analytical Skills - Proficient in reporting, data analysis, and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to Detail - Maintain high standards in all tasks.
- This role consists of approximately 80% document handling and 20% manual handling.
- This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 38 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
