Industrial Equipment Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to advance their career in heavy industrial equipment.
As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be part of a dedicated team servicing power gen customers and working on engines up to 78 litres in size.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics of engines is a key responsibility of this role.
- Maintenance of diesel and gas engines requires strong mechanical skills and experience.
- Participating in an after-hours on-call roster is a requirement for this position.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant trades qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic)
- Previous field service experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills are required.
- A current, valid driver's license is necessary for the job.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning of new equipment including generator installation, Fuel System, Exhaust system, Cooling etc.
- Power Generation Mechanics experienced in Engines, Complex Fuel transfer systems, Oil Make up system and other balance of plant i.e. remote cooling systems diagnostics and repairs.
