About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to provide personal care and community access to individuals with complex mental health needs in the Greater Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.

  • Collaborate with participants to develop their life goals and aspirations.
  • Provide a degree of personal care and support, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Support participants with community access, enabling them to engage in activities and interests that bring joy and fulfillment.
Your Background and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Dementia, Schizophrenia or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with participants and their families.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and workload management.
