Project Kuiper is a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

We are looking for a talented lawyer to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper. The successful candidate will support Kuiper commercial business development and sales efforts in APAC by structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements with customers and partners. The ideal candidate has experience in corporate law firms and in-house work, knowledge of IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or equivalent, and ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting Kuiper commercial business development and sales efforts in APAC by structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements with customers and partners.
  • Structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements to sell services and customer terminals.
  • Counseling the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper's customer and partner contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • License to practice law in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
