
Electrical Equipment Specialist

Overview: This role involves maintaining electrical and electronic equipment onboard a vessel.
- Maintain the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all electrical systems are properly installed, maintained, and repaired according to regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine checks on electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with other crew members to carry out maintenance tasks beyond electrical equipment maintenance.
- Carry out first-level maintenance of communications, radio, and navigation equipment.
Requirements:
- Educational requirement: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency (CoC/CoR) Unlimited.
- Minimum 12 months relevant experience in maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.
- Certificate of Safety Training (STCW).
- Work Safely at Heights Certification.
- Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification.
- Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
- Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights.
