Job Opportunity

Seeking a highly organised and proactive coordinator to deliver high-level executive support and lead a team of administrators in a busy government office in Cairns.

This role is ideal for someone with strong executive support experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of administrative staff, including performance management and training.
  • Act as a central contact point for regional staff, providing guidance on financial, records, and information management processes.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, including managing escalated queries and applying negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Provide executive-level support to the Regional Director, including managing correspondence, briefing notes, and responses.
  • Maintain systems, procedures, and reporting tools to support regional operations and program delivery.
  • Coordinate and quality-assure documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple inboxes, including the Regional Director's, and ensure timely and accurate communication.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Proven experience in executive support roles.
  • Strong multitasking ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
