Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk and Governance professional to join our team as a Billing and Credit Risk Consultant. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate risks from identification to resolution, prioritizing allocation using the Optus risk matrix.
  • Identify business ownership and confirm acceptance, with stakeholder management and support for remediation activities.
  • Maintain the Billing and Credit Risk Register and attend monthly change/risk business meetings.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior management and collate closure documentation before any risk is closed.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Group to maintain accountability across the organization and lead Billing and Credit risk workshops.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate proven experience in credit risk management and remediation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Implement clear recommendations for preventative measures to reduce incidents.
  • Engage with Group Risk, Billing and Credit business units and across the Optus business – Product, Regulatory, Legal, Customer Success.
