Risk Management Specialist Role

As a Risk & Governance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing billing and credit risks from identification to resolution.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Evaluate the nature of risks considering likelihood, sensitivity, impact scope, interim remediation work, and prioritization using a risk matrix.
  • Identify business ownership, confirm acceptance, and support remediation activities with various B&C business units.
  • Maintain the B&C Risk Register and attend monthly change/risk meetings.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior management and collate closure documentation before closing any risk.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Group to reflect B&C risks, maintain accountability, and lead B&C risk workshops to align risk resolution across the organization.

Additionally, you will manage regulatory notice responses, maintain strong version control, and leverage instructional guides. Your role will involve engaging with regulatory bodies like ACCC, OAIC, ACMA, and TIO to address systemic issues identified.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Proven experience in credit risk management and remediation.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to implement clear recommendations for preventative measures to reduce incidents.
  • Strong engagement with Group Risk, Billing and Credit business units, and across departments including Product, Regulatory, Legal, and Customer Success.

As the custodian of all policies related to Billing and Credit, you will perform annual audits and ensure compliance with Billing and Credit policies such as the ID and Activation Policy, Consolidated Credit Management Policy, and Financial Hardship Policy.
