About the Opportunity

The company has developed patented technologies for in vivo imaging of tissues and is expanding its portfolio through innovation and international collaborations, aiming to transform patients' lives by enabling digital biopsies for cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

The Role

You will lead the design and integration of complex systems encompassing electronics, software, optics, and mechanical components. This includes:

  • Providing systems engineering leadership in design activities, including risk management, technical investigations, requirements analysis, system architecture, detailed design, integration, testing, verification, and validation tasks.
  • Leading verification activities and providing accompanying documentation to support regulatory submissions.
  • Providing guidance on integration activities and delivering technical outputs.
  • Maintaining documentation of design and development processes, ensuring traceability and accountability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for medical devices.
  • Experience in designing and developing Class II or III medical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, electronics, optics, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of international standards relevant to medical device development.
  • Proven experience with C/C++ programming is desirable.
