Software Development Expert

At Leica Biosystems, we innovate for tangible impact in life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology.

This role contributes to the software development lifecycle for medical device infrastructure and applications, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Scrum events to transform product backlogs into working software increments.
  • Design and develop solutions for user stories ensuring customer value delivery.
  • Develop code, debug, unit test, and perform code reviews in team standards.
  • Maintain product quality by raising, assessing, and fixing defects.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of full SDLC experience.
  • Have hands-on automated testing experience.
  • Experience with: C#, .NET/.NET Core, C++; UI: WPF, HTML5; Communication: WCF, REST; HTTPs; Windows Desktop/Server, Azure PaaS/IaaS, and Linux; Relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and ORMs; Git.

Work is onsite and full-time at company location.
