Compliance and Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our vibrant school community as the Compliance and Risk Management Professional.

About the Role

The Compliance and Risk Management Professional plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and compliance of the school community. This role oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk management frameworks, Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems, and compliance obligations.

The position also manages the planning and approval processes for school excursions and off-site activities, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and the school's values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks and WHS systems.
  • Manage compliance obligations and ensure alignment with legal requirements.
  • Plan and approve school excursions and off-site activities.
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the school community.

This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, WHS legislation, and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience in policy development, compliance reporting, and incident investigation.

A committed Christian with a personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the School's Doctrinal Basis is essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk management, WHS, compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, privacy, workers compensation, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience in policy development, compliance reporting, and incident investigation.
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
