Early Childhood Teacher Role Overview



We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the YMCA WA's Early Learning Centre (ELC) in Port Hedland.



About the Role




  • As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging learning programs that meet the needs and interests of our children.
  • You will work collaboratively with our team of educators to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • You will promote 'School ReadY' within our centre and manage compliance with relevant regulations.


Requirements




  • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Passion for early years education within an ELC environment
  • Effective learning programs experience (preferably for 0-5 year olds)
  • Understanding of 'National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, NQF & EYLF
  • Ability to obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children check
