Early Childhood Educator (Room Leader) Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Room Leader at our Port Hedland Early Learning Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a close-knit group of educators to provide a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment for our children.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $62,400 - $64,291.50, plus a $5.61 per hour remote allowance, 11.5% superannuation, and benefits. You will also have the opportunity to save money with subsidised housing and utilities, and enjoy a generous relocation assistance package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs and services to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement programs that promote 'School ReadY' and support children's learning and development
  • Manage compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012
  • Engage with children, families, and the community to build strong relationships and promote the centre's values
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
  • HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012
  • Previous experience in children's services, developing and implementing programs for 0-5 year olds
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
