Role Overview
The department is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the development and implementation of information governance strategies, frameworks, and policies.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of information management maturity by reviewing and enhancing guidance provided through strong information governance practices.
As part of the digital services branch, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that information assets are managed securely, compliantly, and aligned with departmental and whole-of-government policies and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and regular review of information governance strategies, frameworks, and policies relevant to information management.
- Assist in managing the implementation of components of information governance policy requirements.
- Contribute to internal projects, such as the in-place records management project, supporting the capture, maintenance, and preservation of information created within collaboration tools.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, internal/external stakeholders, and service providers to ensure positive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in information governance.
- Demonstrated understanding of government information management legislation and policy.
- A high-level security clearance.
