We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our team at a leading provider of Outside School Hours Care services in Australia. This permanent, part-time position offers 34.5 hours per week during school term and 38 hours during vacation care time.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day operations, manage a team of Educators, and receive support from a dedicated management team.
This OSHC service is located in a convenient building on school grounds, featuring a community garden, chickens, multiple playgrounds, and outdoor spaces. We cater to around 60 children in the afternoons and prioritize a child-centred and child-led program that celebrates diversity and community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Quality Programs: Create engaging and educational programs for children;
- Daily Operations Management: Assist with the smooth running of daily activities and ensure compliance;
- Staff Support and Administration: Manage staff schedules, administer documentation, and provide support as needed;
- Community Collaboration: Work closely with families and the school community to achieve shared goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services);
- Experience in programming and childcare;
- Effective administration and documentation skills;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
- A Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
