The position available is for a Senior Employment Law professional.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing expert legal advice on employment law matters including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations. It also entails monitoring and interpreting legislative and industrial relations developments to advise on their implications for policy, practice, and risk. The ideal candidate will be able to draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation to ensure it is legally robust and aligns with organisational values.
- The role requires strong communication and presentation skills to translate legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and processes (e.g. Fair Work Commission, AHRC) is also required.
The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation.
- They will be proficient in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
- A proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, People & Culture, Risk, and external counsel is essential.
