Community Development Support Specialist

The role of a Support Coordinator is to connect participants with supports and services in the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping participants understand their NDIS plan
  • Managing resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to meet goals and objectives
  • Problem solving and resolving issues as they arise
  • Monitoring progress, outcomes and quality of services and supports
  • Providing reports to the NDIS

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong commitment to person-centred practice and a demonstrated ability to build trust and positive relationships with people with a disability.

Essential requirements include:

  • Valid NSW Driver's License and access to a vehicle
  • Satisfactory NDIS worker screening check and Working with Children's check
  • Bachelor's degree in social science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
