Cardiovascular Research Network Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our team as a Victorian Cardiovascular Research Network Lead. This role is pivotal in driving day-to-day operations and supporting the growth of the cardiovascular research network in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide secretariat support to the CVRN Executive Committee, including minute-taking, managing action items, and reporting.
- Lead the coordination of high-profile CVRN events and capacity-building workshops for researchers.
- Support social media and communications to promote cardiovascular research in Victoria.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across research, health, and government sectors.
- Identify collaboration and funding opportunities that benefit the network's stakeholders.
- Represent the Network at external meetings and forums to further our mission.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia, including research funding schemes and collaborative networks.
- Experience in planning and delivering research, capacity building and/or networking events.
- The ability to manage projects, have strong organisational and administrative skills and work proactively and autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, work with and manage diverse committees.
- Proven collaboration and high-level negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences ranging from government, researchers, executives, donors, and general community.
