The Specialist HR Business Partnership role at BHP Group is a key position that requires a skilled HR professional to coach and enable line leaders to navigate the complexities of HR in a matrixed organization and a changing industrial landscape.
This role is part of the Asset People Strategy, which aims to build leader capability in effective employee engagement and development, change management execution, HR policy interpretation and application, and cultural initiative ownership, problem solving and delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-demand support to leaders, delivering planned work against the strategy, and participating in site or Asset project initiatives related to talent, reward, team effectiveness, capability and labour productivity.
This is a newly created role due to an increased demand from the business to support high-priority work and will be offered as a 2-year fixed-term appointment.
About YouYou are an experienced HR generalist with a degree or related discipline qualification, preferably within mining or heavy industry. You have a strong understanding of HR processes and an appreciation for HR data and systems.
You are a confident and influential individual who can interact with mining leaders and frontline employees alike, and provide trusted advice to site leaders.
