A Tanker Driver is a critical role that requires individuals with excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
About the RoleThis position involves the safe transportation of products from one location to another. The driver will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining vehicle performance, ensuring optimal fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.
Key Responsibilities:- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor and maintain vehicle performance, ensuring optimal fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.
- Reporting and Scheduling: Provide timely reporting of all vehicle defects, adhering to maintenance schedules and protocols.
- Product Delivery: Deliver products in accordance with procedures, prioritizing customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Road Safety: Drive in accordance with road and weather conditions, exercising defensive driving skills to minimize risks.
- Route Optimization: Follow the most efficient and permissible route of travel, optimizing delivery times and reducing costs.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current MC driver's licence, skilled in driving multi and/or heavy combination vehicles.
- Communication and Defensive Driving Skills: Good communication skills and excellent defensive driving skills.
- Operational Skills: Excellent operational skills.
- Transport Regulations: Thorough knowledge of transport regulations.
