
Indigenous Business Engagement Specialist

The Indigenous Business Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in fostering connections between Supply Nation member organisations and indigenous businesses.
You will be the primary point of contact, bridging the gap between these entities to increase business activity and drive procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Embed cultural values and integrity within the organisation, suppliers, and members.
- Respect and incorporate cultural practices and knowledge as standard operational procedure.
- Develop and implement initiatives to support and grow the organisation's indigenous workforce.
- Assist members in achieving their supplier diversity objectives through training, mentorship, knowledge, best practice, and provision of relevant tools and systems.
- Nurture and maintain close relationships with key member contacts.
- Represent Supply Nation in meetings and events with various stakeholders.
- Establish credibility as a supplier diversity expert among our members.
- Secure, onboard, and retain members.
- Provide matching services to introduce relevant indigenous businesses to members.
- Adhere to the Account Management Model and its processes and procedures.
- Build and sustain relationships with potential and current partner organisations in your region.
- Collaborate with government and corporate stakeholders, as well as our partner organisations, to enhance the capacity of indigenous businesses.
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of information contained in Supply Nation's customer relationship management system (CRM).
- Complete project work and other duties as identified and agreed with your manager.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while complying with all safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in workplace consultative meetings and recommend improvements to relevant workplace health and safety practices within the workplace.
