Economist for Infrastructure Projects
Our mission is to deliver expert advice on infrastructure investment decisions that shape economic outcomes for public and private sector clients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Senior Economists and the Strategic Advisory Team to drive business growth while decarbonizing the economy.
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where you can develop your skills and progress your career. With access to a range of opportunities and support, you will have the freedom to innovate and make a lasting impact from day one.
Social and economic infrastructure connects communities and drives economic growth while reducing our carbon footprint. Our team provides insight into how infrastructure investments affect goods movement, livability, productivity, and regional competitiveness.
We work with clients across various sectors, including transportation, health, education, and environmental agencies, as well as private clients in the energy, utilities, and transport sectors.
Your role will involve assisting with the preparation of economic appraisals, data analysis, and business case development. You will also contribute to proposal preparation and play a key part in shaping investment programs that prioritize sustainability.
Some examples of projects you may work on include:
- Evaluating the economic viability of new infrastructure projects
- Analyzing transport modeling data to inform investment decisions
- Developing business cases for infrastructure and place-based projects
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong economic and financial modeling skills, excellent report writing and presentation skills, and good work ethic and client interfacing skills. A degree in commerce, economics, or finance is highly regarded, and experience in preparing economic models and social infrastructure projects is advantageous.
We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, global mobility, parental leave, and professional development opportunities. We strive to create a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance.
We believe in delivering exceptional results through collaboration and innovation. If you share our commitment to excellence and want to make a meaningful contribution to our team, we encourage you to apply.
Achieving net zero targets is at the forefront of our agenda. Your expertise will help us navigate complex challenges and drive sustainable growth.
We welcome applications from talented individuals who can showcase their skills and experience in infrastructure advisory, economic modeling, and project development.
