Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be accountable for ensuring the reliability and availability of rotating and mechanical equipment onsite.

  • Implementing a site-wide reliability centered maintenance program for all rotating and mechanical equipment.
  • Developing and optimizing condition monitoring and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.
  • Evaluating equipment performance, damage, and failure rates.
  • Performing root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.
  • Engineering solutions to address equipment failure, malfunction, or changed performance.
  • Liaising with OEMs and external contractors regarding equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Preparing detailed work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.
  • Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of mechanical engineering.
  • Assisting in the development of mechanical engineers and maintenance technicians.
