Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee daily store operations including receiving, storage, stock control, and distribution of materials. They will also assist with major shutdowns as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations including receiving, storage, stock control, and distribution of materials.
  • Assist with major shutdowns as required.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and report any stock discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues promptly.
  • Accurately label, store, and organize stock in designated areas.
  • Manage repairable and rotatable stock items, obtaining quotations and tracking repairs and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within SAP.
  • Ensure correct operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and supplier issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a Stores Supervision role within a heavy industrial environment.
  • Procurement background experience in industrial settings is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, particularly SAP, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Forklift license is required.
