Senior Manager Training Capability Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our training capability. This role is responsible for driving the strategic management and execution of the Training Capability as part of the Support Systems team.

The ideal candidate will have a systems approach to training with a focus on design and development, and will be able to influence new business opportunities and current training operations to establish and grow an enterprise-wide capability to the business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large and diverse team across Australia, executing to multiple domains and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive competency development for training specialists across the business.
  • Provide recommendations on tools, technologies and standards adoption.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in training development and delivery.
  • At least 7-10 years' experience in a training environment, preferably in a Military training environment.
  • Proven experience in the analysis and design of training curricula and/or developing training media.
