Job Description

Support the delivery of leisure services in a pool environment while maintaining high standards in customer care.

  • Ensure a safe aquatic environment by supervising the pool
  • Identify and mitigate risks to provide a secure experience for customers
  • Establish a positive role model to promote a culture of safety and respect
  • Provide lifesaving assistance and administer first aid when required

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a lifeguard in a centre-based facility
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to build rapport with diverse individuals
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Availability to work weekend, early morning, and evening shifts, as needed
  • Current Working with Children Check card
  • Pool Lifeguard certificate
  • Up-to-date police clearance (less than three months old)
