A Credit Officer will be responsible for managing debtor collections, liaising with partners, resolving client queries, and maintaining processes. This role is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise in credit control and make a significant impact on the company's financial performance.
This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong decision-making abilities when collecting debtors. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage debtor collections via calls and emails for insurance clients;
- Liaise with partners to assist with collection of their clients' outstanding debtors;
- Resolve client queries in a timely and effective manner;
- Assist with rectifying unidentified deposits;
- Maintain and improve processes to control financial transactions;
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in reducing debt with a focus on cash flow and excellent organisational skills. They will also possess autonomy to work independently and as part of a team, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
About You- 5+ years' experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services;
- Experience with debtor collections for insurance clients is highly desirable;
- Strong decision-making skills when collecting debtors;
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels;
- Autonomy to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to plan and prioritise;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Enthusiasm and a positive approach;
