Leadership Opportunity in Store Operations

As an Assistant Department Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day functions of your department while working closely across the store to ensure a great shopping experience for customers and a great place to work for the team.

Responsibilities
  • This role is part time 24 hours.
  • Engaging and inclusive team environment where you can be yourself while delivering a consistently good shopping experience for our customers.
  • Support in your first leadership role and learn how to lead, providing a gateway to your career in retail.
  • Flexibility to work a 4 day work week to enable a healthy work/life balance to suit personal needs and business requirements.
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure safe, efficient department operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to engage and role model ways to delight customers through Everyday ACTs – Acknowledge, Care & Thank.
  • Make safety a top priority for the team and customers by ensuring correct processes are followed in store.
  • Strong desire to learn department operations to provide great support to the department team daily.
  • Ability to work well with others through collaboration to achieve great outcomes.
  • Developing awareness of your own leadership style and desire to grow into a future leader.
  • An appreciation of the value of working across stores to enable a positive shopping experience for customers.
