We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to support the development and delivery of modelling processes related to natural hazards and reinsurance. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate and insightful outputs. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain modelling processes for natural hazard budgeting and reinsurance optimization. Prepare, validate, and manage data used in natural hazard and reinsurance modelling. Deliver technical outputs to internal stakeholders within agreed timelines. Support automation and enhancement of analytical workflows. Collaborate with external consultants and brokers on data and modelling inputs. Build effective relationships with internal teams to understand and support business needs. Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Qualifications and Skills Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics are required. Experience in general insurance or financial services is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel, with experience in SQL, SAS, or similar tools, is necessary. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is desirable. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow are also important. Requirements A strong foundation in mathematical and statistical techniques is crucial. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Adaptability and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines are also necessary.
