Event Coordinator Specialist

The city's tourism and events organisation seeks a motivated and experienced Event Coordinator Specialist to support the planning and delivery of major summer events.

This role will focus on assisting with event logistics, coordinating stakeholders, and preparing event documents such as budgets, site maps, and risk assessments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale community events.
  • Coordinate volunteers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve successful event outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain event documents to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
  • Provide on-site event support during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Support post-event evaluation and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in event delivery, preferably large-scale or community events.
  • Relevant industry experience or a degree/qualification in Events or related discipline.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across various timeframes and in high-pressure environments.
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of event delivery.
