Clinical Trials Nurse Manager Position

As a seasoned professional, you will lead and manage the nursing team to ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence in clinical trials. This pivotal role is crucial for the successful delivery of world-class clinical research.

  • Job Description:
  • Nursing Team Leadership Provide strategic direction and oversight to the nursing team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
  • Patient Safety and Care Ensure the accurate administration of investigational products and prioritize patient safety above all else.
  • Trial Start-Up Oversee the preparation and execution of trial start-up, guaranteeing that nursing protocols and resources are adequately in place.
  • Recruitment and Training Manage the recruitment, training, and delegation of nursing staff across various protocols, ensuring a seamless workflow.
  • Compliance and Quality Maintain strict compliance with GCP, ALCOA-C, protocols, and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Nursing Expertise Current registration with AHPRA (mandatory) and tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
  • Leadership Experience 3+ years' experience as a Clinical Trials Research Nurse and 3+ years' experience in leadership/management roles.
  • Knowledge and Skills In-depth knowledge of Phases 1–4 of clinical trials, experience with GCP, compliance, and clinical documentation standards, and excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
