We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Engineering Networks Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane.

The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality pumping solutions and LV Variable Speed Drives for the Oil and Gas industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate about business growth and development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for an individual who has existing relationships across Queensland's oil and gas sector. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts and actively seeking new business opportunities.

To achieve this, you will need to have strong sales skills and habits, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a good awareness of upcoming projects in the region and be able to work autonomously.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • An engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • On-shore oil and gas experience, particularly in downhole extraction, is highly desirable.
  • A significant amount of Australian experience selling pumping, VSD or control systems is required.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales budgets and targets is essential.
  • A structured and planned approach to sales, using tools like Miller Heiman blue-sheeting, is highly regarded.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to travel as required.
