Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operations of our Food and Beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of Food and Beverage outlet operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional levels of customer service are maintained at all times, responding promptly to guest queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with brand standards and regulations, ensuring that all Food and Beverage outlets operate within set guidelines.
  • Team Management: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing Food and Beverage team, providing ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Financial Management: Manage food, liquor costs, and payroll within budgeted guidelines, working closely with the finance department to optimize revenue and minimize expenditure.
  • Target Setting: Set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, and budgets in collaboration with senior management, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Menu Development: Develop menus in conjunction with the Food and Beverage team, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer preferences.
  • Stock Takes: Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent stock losses.
  • Sales and Revenue: Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue, promoting excellent customer service and loyalty programs to drive repeat business.
  • Evaluation: Evaluate guest satisfaction levels and provide feedback to improve services and products, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Management Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role within the Food and Beverage industry, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to meet financial targets, controlling costs and optimizing revenue streams.
  • Brand Standards: Ability to comply with Food and Beverage brand standards and regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and suppliers.
  • Leadership Skills: Willingness to develop and empower team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and priorities, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tactical Thinking: Ability to work independently or as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and making sound decisions under pressure.
