Job Title: Reservations Manager

We are seeking an experienced reservations manager for a busy resort located in Western Australia.

This position is a live-off opportunity based in Fremantle, Western Australia, in the company's Head Office.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Manage group and wedding bookings / inquiries
  2. Handle general customer inquiries, prepare quotations and provide additional information
  3. Folio Picking - to ensure they are cleared every month end and payments due are received
  4. Prepare end of month reservations reports for Finance for Board and Resort Manager
  5. Deal with customer inquiries / complaints in an effective, courteous and efficient manner
  6. Manage SynXis CRS, My portal with rate distribution and inventory management
  7. Manage rates and inventory on siteminder and booking button and upload any promotional rates when needed to receive bookings online
  8. Manage rates and promotions on all 3rd party websites
  9. Liaise with Wholesalers and produce annual rates and contracts
  10. Month end invoices to all wholesalers
  11. Manage the reservations system. Hotel PMS with rates etc.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. To act on customer feedback to improve our services. To report on guest feedback and advise on systems and management of guest feedback.
  2. Act on feedback on all 3rd party websites and reply in a positive manner on behalf of the Resort.
  3. To ensure accurate statistical records are kept and maintained and delivered to the Resort Manager on a daily/monthly basis
  4. To consistently deliver products and services that meet the service standards and expectations of guests
  5. To ensure that a professional and dedicated service is delivered in the handling of guests
  6. Confidentiality of guest information including but not limited to credit card and personal information of house records
  7. All guest communications ie. Confirmation, upcoming stays etc are updated based on information
  8. To ensure website information is updated and liaise with Marketing for any changes required
  9. Ensure that Facebook comments are read and replied to including private messages
