Job Title

A Childcare Assistant Coordinator is needed to work in the St Ives Area.

About The Role

This position requires someone who can develop and implement engaging child-centered programs, foster healthy relationships with children, schools, communities, and parents. As an Assistant Coordinator/Second in Charge, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service including compliance and administration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Foster positive relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Develop and facilitate child-centered programs full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft
  • Assist in leading the team of Educators onsite
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service including compliance and administration
Requirements

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children, enjoys communicating clearly, and is a team player with a desire to become a service leader. You must hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children. Australian work rights are also required.
