Childcare Programs Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Coordinator to join our childcare services team.

- This is a permanent, part-time position with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week during school term and 38 hours during vacation care time.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will assist in planning, preparing, implementing, and evaluating programs according to NQF requirements.
They will also undertake active and safe supervision of children to ensure duty of care is met.
Additional responsibilities include recording observations to support future program planning and supporting inclusive practices for children with additional needs.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have completed or near-completed qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma in Children's Services).
Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and passion for quality childcare is essential.
Candidates must also possess effective administration and documentation skills in an OSHC service.
A current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one is also necessary.
National Quality Framework knowledge is highly advantageous.
