Signalling Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking experienced Technicians to join the Sydney Metro team at Rouse Hill, working on one of Australia's advanced rail signalling projects.

  • Technicians will perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the on-board and trackside CBTC subsystems and associated equipment such as Interlocking, Data Communication Subsystems.

The successful candidate will regularly monitor signalling defects and failures in traffic and liaise with key stakeholders. They will mitigate the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention and download and process CBTC signalling diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regularly monitor signalling defects and failures in traffic and liaise with key stakeholders
  2. Mitigate the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention
  3. Download and process CBTC signalling diagnostic data, undertake fault finding to an advanced level

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An Electrical Licence is required
  • Experience in a rail maintenance background is an advantage but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in Fault Finding and Preventative Maintenance is highly desirable
  • A RIW Card is also required
